Job summary

A leading NDT service provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Radiography Technician to support operations, maintain safety standards, and perform NDT tasks. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience and hold ASNT Level II certification. Strong communication skills in English are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years work experience as a qualified and certified ASNT Level II NDT technician.

Responsibilities

• Support operation department with designated NDT scope of work.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the SSI HSEQ department.
• Interpret Radiography films after processing and report to operations.

Skills

Good communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• To support the operation department with designated NDT scope of work
• To maintain health and safety standard within the SSI HSEQ department
• Follow approved NDT test methods techniques procedures and work instructions as per project requirement and company policy.
• Carry out Radiography inspection as per client/code/standard/SSI Procedure
• Interpret Industrial codes standards and specifications Documentation and reporting of the result in a proper manner with company reporting system. Documentation and reporting of the result in a proper manner with company reporting system.
• Follow operation and job instructions as per practice
• Interpret the Radiography films after processing and reporting to operations.
• Carry MT/PT/Hardness test as per operations requirement when required after necessary training.
• RPO certified will be added advantage
• Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports
• Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after the completion
• Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate workplace and surrounding premises
• Always follow the safety and FANR rules regulation during performing the jobs at site

Specialized Knowledge

• Experience in Radiography equipments

Ability & Skills

• Good communication skills in English written and verbal Mandatory requirement

• Minimum 3- 5 Years work experience as a Qualified and certified ASNT Level II NDT technician
