Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support their IT software development teams. The successful candidate will assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
The Project Coordinator will work closely with developers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, tracking progress, and addressing any challenges along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
Coordinate communication between teams, ensuring alignment on project milestones and goals.
Track project progress, identify risks, and work with the project manager to implement solutions.
Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to ensure efficient project execution.
Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes for project discussions.
Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are appropriately utilized.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and other technical staff to ensure project requirements are met.
Provide status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Support quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in project deliverables.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably within an IT or software development environment.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Proficiency in project management tools (i.e. Asana)
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) is an advantage.
PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification is a plus.
