Job Description

Due to the continuing success and growth of our Dubai team, this fantastic opportunity has opened up at our award-winning specialist consultancy, engineering, and advisory firm.

At AESG, we are looking for a Graduate Fire Engineer - Emirati National, to support our Fire and Life Safety team and work alongside our other specialist disciplines.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with our experienced team of engineers to deliver innovative fire engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include:

1. Working closely with clients and architects to ensure an exemplary level of quality.
2. Project Management.
3. Preparing technical reports, drawings, and presentations for clients and regulatory authorities.
4. Developing fire protection strategies and design solutions in compliance with local and international codes and standards.
5. Supporting the development of our Fire & Life Safety offering in the Middle East.
6. Working with our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated outputs.
7. Staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the field of fire engineering.

Must have/be:

1. Bachelor's degree in fire engineering, architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering, or relevant field.
2. Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
3. Strong understanding of fire dynamics, fire protection systems, and building codes.
4. A good understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
5. Able to take a brief from the project lead and deliver & control the tasks required, within time and budget.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
