Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Multi-Inspector or QA/QC Inspector.
- Mandatory certifications: CSWIP, NACE/AMPP, BGAS, AWS, API.
- Valid UAE Driving License and Freelance visa.

- Perform inspections on welding, painting, piping, and structural works.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.

Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced Freelance Multi‑Inspector to support Oil & Gas Energy and Industrial projects. The role involves performing multi‑disciplinary inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and client requirements across various stages of project execution.
- Perform inspection activities related to welding, painting/coating, piping and/or structural works as applicable.
- Verify materials, workmanship and installation against approved drawings, ITPs, method statements and project specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks and verification of fabrication, installation and testing activities.
- Review and verify inspection records, reports and quality documentation.
- Identify and follow up on non‑conformances, ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with construction QA/QC engineering and client representatives during inspections.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NACE/AMPP and project‑specific standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 35 years of experience as a Multi‑Inspector or QA/QC Inspector in Oil & Gas Energy or Industrial projects.
- Mandatory certifications: CSWIP, NACE/AMPP, BGAS, AWS, API or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of inspection standards and codes (ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NACE).
- Proven hands‑on experience in multi‑discipline inspection (Welding, Painting/Coating, Piping, Structural).
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Must hold a valid Freelance / Own UAE Visa.
