The QC ENGINEER must know the procedures to check quality starting from:

• Receiving Drawings
• Inspecting Material
• Check the cutting of the material to see if it is as per the dimensions mentioned on the drawings.
• Check the LAYOUT and Fitup done by the structure fabricator.
• Check the welding if done as per client requirement.
• Check the painting according to the specifications.
• Check the finished goods before dispatch and approve it to proceed for delivery.

Note: He must have strong knowledge of Steel Fabrication QC procedures.
