  • Relevant experience in comparable roads and bridges projects.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect site conditions prior to construction activities.
  • Review and document materials delivered to the site.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials both in the laboratory and onsite.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain records.
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors on material-related issues.
  • Monitor proper storage and handling of materials onsite.
  • Assist in preparing punch lists and participate in startup testing.
  • Review and provide recommendations on RFIs and variance requests.
  • Ensure compliance with construction standards and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in material inspection.

Job description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Inspector Material to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. In this critical role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in construction projects contributing to the overall success and safety of our operations.

  • Inspect site conditions prior to the start of construction activities verifying compatibility with designed permanent works
  • Review and document materials delivered to the site ensuring conformance with approved samples specifications and quality standards
  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials both in the laboratory and onsite
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports maintaining accurate records of all tests performed and work executed
  • Collaborate with project managers and contractors to address any material-related issues or discrepancies
  • Monitor proper storage and handling of materials onsite
  • Assist in the preparation of punch lists and participate in the startup testing and commissioning processes
  • Review and provide recommendations on Requests for Information (RFIs) and variance requests from contractors
  • Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards and safety regulations
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in material inspection
