Job Title: Caregiver (NGT, PEG Tube, and Tracheostomy Care)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to provide in-home care for a patient requiring advanced medical support, including management of Nasogastric Tube (NGT), Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Tube, and Tracheostomy care. The ideal candidate will have experience with these medical devices and a strong commitment to ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Medical Device Management:
   1. Administer feeding through NGT or PEG tube following medical protocols.
   2. Perform regular maintenance and checks on PEG tube to ensure proper functionality.
   3. Provide comprehensive tracheostomy care, including cleaning, suctioning, and device checks.
   4. Administer prescribed medications via feeding tubes as instructed by healthcare providers.
2. Personal Care & Daily Assistance:
   1. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks to ensure patient comfort.
   2. Help with patient mobility, including repositioning, transfers, and movement support.
3. Health Monitoring:
   1. Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
   2. Document care activities and changes in health status per medical guidelines.
4. Emotional Support & Companionship:
   1. Provide emotional support, engage the patient in activities to enhance mental well-being, and reduce isolation.
   2. Create a caring, respectful, and supportive environment that promotes dignity and emotional well-being.
5. Infection Control & Safety:
   1. Follow strict hygiene and infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment.
   2. Adhere to safety protocols during medication administration, patient handling, and health monitoring.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in caregiving with expertise in NGT, PEG tubes, and tracheostomy care.
2. MOFA-attested CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certificate is mandatory.
3. CPR/First Aid certification or relevant healthcare qualifications are preferred.
4. Strong ability to follow detailed care plans and medical instructions accurately.
5. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
6. Physical strength and stamina to assist with lifting, transferring, and supporting patient mobility.
