Managing daily accounting tasks such as posting journal entries, making financial decisions by tracking and correcting company accounts, conducting financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate financial records throughout the year.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be comfortable working with numbers, and have a keen eye for detail. The main goal is to improve the efficiency of business, while also ensuring the company is well-informed about its financial health. This enables the company to make informed decisions and work towards long-term success.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts payable and receivable daily to ensure each invoice and expense report is accurate.
- Reconcile the account transactions.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc., as assigned.
- Enter and update financial data in SAP B1 to ensure accuracy and immediate availability of information.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings.
- Assist with other accounting projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- At least 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) role, ideally within the Real Estate or Fruits and Vegetable Industry.
- Strong team player capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and high-quality work delivery.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with numerical data.
- Willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
