Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Project Origination & Development
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Identify new business opportunities within the nuclear energy sector through market research, industry events, professional networking, cold calling, or social media.
- Utilize contacts in the USA and other selected regions to position ENEC as a leading player in the nuclear market.
- Finalize ENEC’s go-to-market strategy and implement market entry decisions and priority projects.
- Assess client needs and risks; propose project development aligned with ENEC’s Business Development and Investment strategy; coordinate with teams for project development and technical studies following a GO/NO GO approval process.
Project Coordination
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Lead technical, legal, finance, regulatory, and project development teams to ensure successful project execution within scope, timeline, and budget. Supervise proposal, budget, and presentation preparations, focusing on stakeholder coordination, relationship, and account management. Provide necessary information for stakeholder understanding until final project agreements are signed.
- Monitor development of pipeline assets to meet budget, schedule, and quality targets; mobilize and manage resources; act as project lead; present to steering committees.
- Participate in business strategy, planning, and objectives setting processes.
- Ensure proper balancing of project risks and rewards.

Professional Certifications & Qualifications
Degree in Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a STEM-focused program; MBA preferred.
Experience
Minimum 15 years in corporate development, infrastructure project development, and project finance, with a proven track record of executing greenfield and brownfield projects.
