A leading food distribution company in the UAE seeks a Cost Control Manager to analyze costs, assess vendor relationships, and enhance profitability. This role demands at least 5 years of experience in cost control within a diversified business group, alongside a Bachelor’s in finance and a relevant accounting qualification. Key responsibilities include collaborating with department heads to optimize profitability, implementing cost-saving programs, and ensuring compliance with financial standards, making this position crucial for operational efficiency.
Job Overview:
You will work collaboratively with various department managers to analyze costs, assess vendor relationships, and maximize profitability, with a deep commitment to the bottom line without compromising quality. You will be accountable for a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: A professional accounting qualification like CA, CPA or equivalent, with good knowledge of international accounting and financial reporting standards. Bachelor’s degree in finance is a requirement.
Minimum Experience (number of years): At least 5 years of professional experience working in cost control preferably in a Group company having diversified business.
