We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to oversee inventory costing and cost accounting for our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate product costing, overhead absorption, and timely management reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for variance analysis, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and compliance with UAE VAT, while leveraging SAP for day-to-day operations.

• Manage inventory costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in SAP.
• Perform cost allocations and overhead absorption in line with company policies.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, including variance analysis and performance insights.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany balances and financial records.
• Oversee compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare necessary reconciliations.
• Maintain and validate financial data within SAP (FI/CO/MM modules).
• Support audit processes through accurate schedules and reconciliations.
• Partner with production and finance teams to improve cost visibility and control.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CMA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• 4–5 years’ relevant experience in cost accounting within manufacturing, audit firm experience will be considered if candidates have worked on Manufacturing assignments in past.
• Proficiency in SAP is crucial and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax.
