Job summary
A leading automotive supplier in Bloemfontein seeks an experienced quality engineer to negotiate Quality Agreements and conduct quality audits. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Quality Engineering and at least 6 years in manufacturing quality, especially within the automotive sector. The role involves monitoring quality issues and implementing corrective actions to uphold standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing quality.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management.
- Experience working with Automotive OEM is preferred.

- Negotiate and establish Quality Agreements with customers.
- Conduct quality audits and assessments.
- Monitor quality issues and implement corrective actions.

- EDUCATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Quality Engineering (preferred)

- Minimum 6 years of experience working manufacturing quality, with a sound understanding of the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of supply chain with the physical capability of working in a manufacturing environment when necessary
- Good knowledge of Quality Tools (PPAP, APQP, etc.)
- Experience working with Automotive OEM or at Automotive OEM (preferred)
