Job summary
A dynamic manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Treasury Analyst. The role involves managing cash forecasts, reconciling foreign exchange transactions, and ensuring compliance with reserve bank regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a B.Com degree and have 2-3 years of treasury experience. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and JDE are essential. This position offers a salary range of R600k - R760k PA, depending on experience.

- Prepare weekly and monthly cash forecast for the Group.

Introduction:
Are you an experienced Treasury Analyst looking for a dynamic and challenging opportunity? An opportunity with our JSE listed manufacturing client at their Head office in Melrose Arch has become available.
The successful incumbent will assist to solve organisational information problems and requirements by analysing requirements as well as recommending system controls and protocols.
- B.com Accounting or B.Compt degree, ideally with articles completed
- 2-3 years accounting and/or treasury experience
- Attention to detail
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and determined
- Knowledge of Excel and JDE system is an advantage
- Maintain confidentiality
- Deadline driven
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash forecast for the Group and follow-up major variances
- Prepare, submit and reconcile treasury foreign exchange transactions with Treasury agent, and prepare related payments
- Attend to treasury related queries from bankers and business units
- Reconcile foreign and local bank accounts
- Prepare and post into JDE foreign and local cash books
- Prepare and submit South African Reserve Bank returns and applicable applications
- Update exchange rates in JDE and in Hyperion
- Prepare funding letters to the banks for debt funding or repayments, and maintain relevant loan schedules
- Ensure strictly compliance to the Treasury Policy
- Ensure strictly compliance to the South African Reserve Bank rules and regulations
- Review foreign exchange transactions submitted by the Businesses for completeness
- Review and manage banking profiles
- Report export details to the banks, e.g.: UCR numbers
- Prepare monthly treasury report
- Conduct treasury compliance audits on a quarterly basis
Salary: R600k - R760k PA, depending on experience
