Job summary
A prominent engineering firm in Gauteng is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the management of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires expertise in planning, budgeting, and decision-making while ensuring quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering and at least 8 years of experience in the civil engineering field. The position offers a negotiable remuneration package depending on skills and experience.
Qualifications
- Registered as a Professional Construction Manager with SACPCMP or Engineer with ECSA.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in civil engineering and construction.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and project progress.
- Establish and manage budgets for projects.
- Coordinate weekly activities including site visits and meetings.
