The QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA) is seeking a General Manager. Preference will be given to candidates who are quadriplegic or paraplegic. The successful candidate must be able to start as soon as possible. The position offers flexibility regarding location and remuneration, which can be discussed. A performance contract will be established.

You will have a team supporting you and the QASA Executive providing strategic direction. QASA maintains good governance, compliance protocols, and presents an unqualified audit.

QASA Headquarters is in Kloof, Durban, but remote work is possible.

• Oversee financial sustainability, strategic execution, operations, governance, and advocacy efforts.
• Manage financial planning, fundraising, and resource mobilization to support QASA’s mission.
• Lead staff management, ensure legal compliance, and uphold good governance.
• Drive marketing, PR, stakeholder engagement, and lobbying efforts to increase QASA’s influence and visibility.
• Oversee campaigns, partnerships, and asset management, ensuring efficient operation within the strategic framework.

• Self-motivated, invested in the disability sector, independent, mobile, creative, strategic, and operationally experienced.
• Project management skills and ability to network with fundraisers are essential.
• Experience managing an NPO is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required.
• South African citizenship is required.
• Candidate must pass a credit check and police clearance.
• Periodic travel may be required.
