Job description

The role will take responsibility for the execution of the overall SP practices, supported by various experts across Michelin AIM (e.g., Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Succession Planning).

Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and deploy the rules and standards within the area of competency, in line with company policy and legal and labor law obligations.
  • Manage and implement tools, programs, or processes in the domain (e.g., steering of remuneration campaigns, review of NRs).
  • Conduct studies and participate in business projects by selecting appropriate methods, surveys, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with rules, methods, tools, processes, standards, and legal and labor law requirements.
  • Contribute to domain or entity objectives such as quality of service, cost management, and progress tracking.
  • Train and support actors in the domain.
  • Facilitate and deliver across various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including Recruitment, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Reward & Recognition, Employee Wellness, Engagement, Leave Management, and International Mobility.
  • Oversee payroll processes (supported by the payroll manager), which may include query management and engagement with providers.
  • Manage reporting activities (e.g., in-touch, P-transfo, P-practices, Talent Acquisition).
  • Support and drive ad-hoc SP-related projects as initiated by the region or group.
  • Act as PDP and partner with the business to deliver SP topics.

Partnership Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the role of partner for people, teams, and managers within a defined scope to support development.
  • Advise employees on their career paths and competency development upon request.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with talent pool employees regarding their professional development.
  • Manage succession pools and plans to ensure timely staffing of critical roles.
  • Support managers in enhancing managerial quality.
  • Promote internal professional mobility.
  • Ensure adherence to personnel policies, as well as internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Ensure employees trust the recourse process via the PDP, handling cases fairly and completely.
