Job Summary The Commercial Underwriter is a crucial role in our organization, responsible for assessing, evaluating, and administering commercial insurance policies.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

This role will involve working closely with clients, brokers, and insurers to ensure accurate and timely policy administration.

You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and issuing quotations, renewals, and endorsements.

In addition, you will assist with binder reporting and contribute to adherence to service-level agreements.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess and evaluate commercial insurance risks within binder mandates.

Prepare and issue quotations, renewals, and endorsements.

Liaise with clients, brokers, and insurers to ensure accurate and timely policy administration.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across systems and files.

Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Deliver professional, timely, and client-focused service at all times.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or risk management.

Minimum 2 years of experience in underwriting or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
