A remote accounting firm is seeking a full-time Independent Contractor based in South Africa to handle US accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in US accounting/bookkeeping, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and a strong service-oriented mindset. Responsibilities include financial reporting, client collaboration, and managing accounts payable/receivable. Competitive compensation of $1,400–$2,100 per month is offered along with permanent work-from-home support and 15 days of paid time off annually.

You see accounting as a system: inputs tidy, flows efficient, outputs decision-ready. You’ll own the close, stitch together AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations, then ship reporting that blends variance insight with plain-English commentary. Along the way you’ll standardize checklists, codify playbooks, and turn “oops” into automation.
This is an independent contractor engagement based in South Africa. Full-time exclusivity is required. Candidates must not hold other part-time or freelance engagements once hired. Conflict-of-interest checks may apply.
