Workshop Supervisor – Caravan Fitment Centre (Pretoria)

Location: Pretoria, Gauteng | Employment Type: Full-Time

Caravan Fitment Centre is a leading specialist in caravan, trailer, and camper fitments, upgrades, and repairs. We pride ourselves on high-quality workmanship, reliable service, and a passion for helping our customers get adventure-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations and staff activities
  • Oversee caravan fitments, installations, and repairs to ensure top-quality standards
  • Plan and allocate work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and support the fitment team
  • Manage workshop inventory, tools, and consumables
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
  • Liaise with management and customers to ensure clear communication and excellent service delivery
  • Inspect, assess the scope of work and provide detailed quotations and timelines for work to clientele
  • Engage with customers for assessments, quotations, progress updates, authorisations, invoicing, payments and collections
  • Regular progress reporting to the management team
  • Continuous updating of job progress on the internal job management software to keep all stakeholders appraised of each job's progress
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a technical or mechanical workshop environment (automotive, caravan, or trailer experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Sound technical and problem‑solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver’s licence (EB or higher advantageous)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer interaction and communication skills
