About Engage Video Group
Engage Video Group is a technology-driven social media video business combining data and creativity to create content people really care about. We have worked with global corporations such as Unilever and NESTLÉ to produce the most engaging, shareable content for some of the world’s largest brands, and have built and own the largest food and recipe social media platform in Africa, Foodies of SA.
Our Purpose
We believe the advertising industry has a problem: people hate ads. This is why ad-centric content is polluting our social feeds and leading to customer mistrust. By tapping into audience data and testing our content against this audience in real time, we’re able to create optimised content around topics customers really care about, in the format they love to watch.
Our Culture
You’ve probably picked up that we’re pretty passionate about what we do. While we operate globally and have grown fast, we’re a startup at heart, driving real change in the industry through a group of A-players and creatives who are continuously looking to do things differently. Because we prioritise team care over ego, we also happen to have a lot of fun in what we do, too.
Where you fit in
We need great people to help us achieve our goals. If you are exceptional at what you do and passionate about the advertising space and the power it has to make a massive impact on the world, we would love to hear from you.
Job Description
You ensure the smooth and efficient running of the post-production process, delivering Foodies of SA’s video content to world-class standards of quality, creativity, and efficiency. You manage workflows, uphold technical excellence, and continuously improve systems so that content is engaging, trend-relevant, and aligned with brand and client goals.
Key Responsibilities
- High-Impact Content Creation at Speed — You deliver high-quality, client-ready edits at high velocity. High quality means that each edit engages audiences, performs strongly, meets client objectives, and strengthens Foodies of SA’s brand authority across platforms.
- Technical Quality & Consistency — All edits you create meet the highest technical standards for pacing, colour, sound, and platform optimisation, ensuring outputs are free of glitches or substandard elements before review or delivery to clients.
- Operational Excellence in Post-Production — You ensure post-production workflows and systems are clearly defined, documented, and adhered to, resulting in smooth project handovers, minimal rework, and a well-maintained, accessible asset library.
- Creative Innovation & Product Evolution — You ensure that the look, feel, and storytelling formats of Foodies of SA content evolve consistently with social media trends, with new creative techniques, templates, and product opportunities tested and implemented at a regular cadence.
- Process Improvement — You conduct ongoing analysis of workflows, tools, and post-production methods leading to regular efficiency gains, reduced turnaround times, and higher-quality outputs.
What does success look like?
Success is measured by the consistent delivery of high-quality video content on time, with efficient workflows, minimal technical issues, and strong creative execution. It is also measured by the continuous refinement of post-production processes, and the regular development and implementation of innovative creative formats.
