Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in a global Zero Trust Initiative. Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand relevant processes from start to finish.
• Define and implement test plans.
• Plan and estimate effort for test case execution.
• Collaborate with other test analysts, developers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external vendors.
• Act as the Zero Trust Testing point of contact between Developers and other Testers.
• Coordinate test data creation with the developers and test analysts.
• Ensure appropriate test environment access levels for testing.
• Perform Manual, Functional, Frontend, Backend, Technical Testing including test scripting and execution.
• Scripting for automation with handover-ready code.
• Conduct Regression, Security, Reliability, Performance, Path and Condition, Maintainability, Portability, and Mobile testing across multiple devices, browsers and OSs.
• Plan, organize and support Test Case/Script creation and analysis (including Technical Test Cases).
• Interpret Testing Results and log Defects in JIRA; report Test Results and analysis to stakeholders.
• Defect management and reporting; follow up on defect fixes identified during test execution and clear defect capturing on JIRA.
• Prepare Production deployment plan documents in relation to test sign-offs; prepare system/functional documentation and Confluence updates.
• Escalate deviations, blockers, impediments and other issues to the relevant Lead.

Essential Skills

• Manual, Functional, Technical and Automation Testing.
• Regression, Security, Reliability, Performance, Path and Condition, API, Maintainability, Negative, Portability Testing.
• Mobile testing across multiple devices, browsers and OSs.
• Test Case/Script creation and analysis (including Technical Test Cases).
• Defect management and defect capturing in JIRA, with defect workflow adherence.
• Test Tools include JIRA, Xray, Confluence, Jenkins, Postman, SOAPUI, IntelliJ IDE, BrowserStack and axeMonitor.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

Advantageous Skills

• Familiarity with application testing across web, mobile and desktop platforms.
• Ability to test infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud environments).
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
• Understanding of integration between different technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in IT or relevant experience.
• 3 to 5+ years’ Software Testing experience.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Agile Technical Tester or ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing.
• Agile working experience (Mandatory).
