Summary

We’re looking for an energetic, organised talent sourcing and delivery consultant to take ownership of day‑to‑day resourcing activities and remove operational load from the MD. This is a hands‑on role covering sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, CV quality control and formatting, interview coordination, and light client communication. You’ll work closely with the MD, with clear priorities and structured workflow management, plus two stand‑ups per week to keep delivery moving.

What you’ll do

  • Source technology candidates using CV databases and job platforms (including Pnet), LinkedIn, and direct headhunting via your own network.
  • Screen incoming applications, assess CV quality quickly, and shortlist appropriately against role requirements by conducting first‑stage candidate screening over video call (MS Teams) for typical SDLC roles (software engineering, QA, DevOps, cloud, data).
  • Format candidate CVs so they are client‑ready, consistent, and clearly presentable.
  • Arrange interviews, coordinate scheduling across time zones where needed, and ensure candidates are prepared and briefed (our clients are in Europe and South Africa).
  • Send technical assessments where required, track completion, and follow up to keep momentum.
  • Support light client communication, for example clarifying role requirements, confirming interview logistics, and feeding back on candidate progress.
  • Work under the MD’s direction, following agreed priorities, turnaround times, and submission standards.
  • Attend two stand‑ups per week with the MD to review pipeline health, blockers, and priorities.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in tech recruitment or tech talent sourcing, ideally in consulting delivery.
  • Strong sourcing capability across LinkedIn and CV databases and confident headhunting.
  • Proven ability to spot a strong CV vs a weak CV, and to quickly identify gaps, red flags, and mismatches.
  • Comfortable running video‑based candidate screens (MS Teams), asking the right questions, and summarising findings clearly.
  • Excellent CV formatting and written communication skills, able to present candidates professionally for client submission.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (especially Word and Excel), with high attention to detail.
  • Confident stakeholder communication, professional tone, and the ability to represent the business well with clients and candidates.
  • Strong time management and self‑discipline, able to deliver reliably in a part‑time capacity.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a solutions‑focused approach, you take ownership and keep things moving.
