Role Purpose

The Retail Business Consultant crafts passionate, energetic, and meaningful partnerships with IFAs that will stand the test of time.

Product, market, and sales intelligence will set them apart from their counterparts.

The consultant / IFA relationship will be strengthened by ease of doing business, first-class services, deep business analysis and continuous improvement of the IFA's business.

Qualifications
  • 3-year BCom degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or Legal (essential)
  • Willingness to study toward the degree and recognition of prior learning if you have 3+ years of experience working in MDS.
  • CFP® is an advantage.
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of financial service industry experience (desired)
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant sales experience (essential)
  • Experience in Momentum Myriad and Investor products is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of risk assessments, claims, underwriting, tax, and business assurance.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and insurance products (desired).

  • Understand the target market, competitor landscape, and key moments of truth to enthuse stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long‑lasting, deep, and meaningful relationships with IFAs.
  • Help IFAs progress from non‑active supporters to active ambassadors.
  • Position Momentum as a thought leader within the IFA community.
  • Provide IFAs with up‑to‑date, accurate information from within Momentum.
  • Drive better financial planning and advisory outcomes.
  • Achieve or exceed minimum production targets.
  • Meet or exceed the minimum productive IFA requirements.
