Overview
We are looking for a System Integrator to join the engineering team. The incumbent will be programming PLC and SCADA for new projects and supporting O&M team on existing PLC programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a functional description specification from control philosophy and detailed design of the approved solution for the client to ensure the effective development.
- Design system architecture for software implementations.
- Design and configure industrial communication networks for software implementations (ethernet, fibre, Profinet, etc.).
- Design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs according to approved functional description specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Design, develop, test, and implement SCADA and/or HMI applications according to functional description specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Develop simulation applications for testing and training purposes.
- Develop QCP documentation for factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing.
- Perform factory acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
- Implement the complete solution at the client and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
- Perform site acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
- Provide training and assistance to the internal and external client, to ensure that the client can use the system within the design constraints.
- Provide post-project system support for the client as and when required.
- Design and configuration servers and historians.
- Knowledge of IoT and architecture.
- Able in configuring VSDs and instrumentation.
- Able in reading electrical schematics.
- Support O&M remotely and traveling to site for troubleshooting.
Academic Qualifications, Permits/Licences, Registrations
- Degree in Computer & Electrical Engineering (NDiploma/B.Tech or B.Eng).
- Valid driver’s license.
Experience
- Experience of 3-5 years in programming PLC and SCADA.
- Advanced knowledge in Siemens software and programming S7.
- Advanced knowledge in SCADA configuration (Ignition, Adroit, Wonderware and WinCC).
- Advanced knowledge in Network configuration.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- AutoCAD.
