Overview

We are looking for a System Integrator to join the engineering team. The incumbent will be programming PLC and SCADA for new projects and supporting O&M team on existing PLC programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a functional description specification from control philosophy and detailed design of the approved solution for the client to ensure the effective development.
  • Design system architecture for software implementations.
  • Design and configure industrial communication networks for software implementations (ethernet, fibre, Profinet, etc.).
  • Design, develop, test, and implement PLC programs according to approved functional description specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement SCADA and/or HMI applications according to functional description specifications and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
  • Develop simulation applications for testing and training purposes.
  • Develop QCP documentation for factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing.
  • Perform factory acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
  • Implement the complete solution at the client and ensure the optimal functioning thereof.
  • Perform site acceptance tests to ensure that the designed solution is fully functional.
  • Provide training and assistance to the internal and external client, to ensure that the client can use the system within the design constraints.
  • Provide post-project system support for the client as and when required.
  • Design and configuration servers and historians.
  • Knowledge of IoT and architecture.
  • Able in configuring VSDs and instrumentation.
  • Able in reading electrical schematics.
  • Support O&M remotely and traveling to site for troubleshooting.
Academic Qualifications, Permits/Licences, Registrations
  • Degree in Computer & Electrical Engineering (NDiploma/B.Tech or B.Eng).
  • Valid driver’s license.
Experience
  • Experience of 3-5 years in programming PLC and SCADA.
  • Advanced knowledge in Siemens software and programming S7.
  • Advanced knowledge in SCADA configuration (Ignition, Adroit, Wonderware and WinCC).
  • Advanced knowledge in Network configuration.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
