BIOVAC is one of the leading sterile vaccine manufacturers rooted in Africa, with our core purpose being to “protect life”. We are looking to hire a dynamic, passionate, confident, proactive and meticulous Supply Chain Specialist to join a goal-oriented team.
Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement supply chain strategies across site (tech transfers and routine commercial operations). Collaborate with all managers to align supply chain activities with project/commercial timelines and milestones. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential supply chain disruptions. Maintain and support planning tools and frameworks.
Improve material and vendor onboarding processes. Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies/materials into manufacturing operations. Provide training and support for stakeholders on new materials and supply chain procedures.
Optimize inventory levels to ensure sufficient supply without excessive stockholding. Oversee warehousing and distribution strategies to meet operational and project requirements. Implement tracking systems for real-time inventory visibility and management.
Work closely with production, QC, and quality teams to ensure material specifications meet operational and project requirements. Provide regular updates to stakeholders (commercial, finance, production, QC) on supply chain progress and challenges. Support sustainability initiatives within warehouse and operational planning. Support S&OP forum with metrics and dashboards for reporting.
