Job Location : Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa Application Deadline : February 28, 2026

ROLE PURPOSE
  • The purpose of this position is to manage stock in & out of the Distribution Facility and to maintain accurate stock level.
MAIN OUTPUTS
  • Receiving cleaning chemicals, consumables, PPE, equipment and machinery from suppliers.
  • Verify received quantities, specifications and quality against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Report shortages, damages or non‑conforming items immediately.
  • Store cleaning chemicals, detergents and hazardous substances in designated, clearly labelled areas in compliance with HSE.
  • Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available and accessible.
  • Issue cleaning chemicals, consumables and PPE to Ops Manager in accordance with their order.
  • Maintain accurate stock control records for all cleaning materials, consumables, PPE and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly and secure storeroom that meets hygiene, safety and audit standards at all times.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, investigate variances and report discrepancies to management timeously.
  • Provide regular stock usage reports and escalate potential risks such as stock levels, delayed deliveries or operational constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Diploma in Administration or procurement
  • Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • Drivers’ license will be an added advantage
  • 3yrs experience in store environment
  • 3 years experience in cleaning services, stock control and reconciliation experience.
