Job summary

A leading software company in the Western Cape is seeking a Site Services Technician to perform on-site preventive maintenance of computer equipment. The role requires an IT qualification or A+ N+, hardware and software experience, and the ability to travel. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are mandatory. This position involves reporting findings to the manager and may require overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum IT qualification or A+ N+ certification.
• Experience in hardware and software.
• Experience in cabling implementation.
• Ability to administer product information.
• FMCG knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a site services technician at our Western Cape Branch.

As a site services technician, you will perform on-site preventive maintenance by servicing clients’ computer equipment and report all findings to the manager.

Requirements:

• IT qualification or A+ N+ as a minimum
• Hardware and Software experience
• Experience in cabling implementation
• Ability to impart and capture product information (administration)
• Microsoft Skills
• Ability to travel and work overtime and weekends when required
• POS, Retail (FMCG) knowledge / experience (Admin / Back Office position) (Advantageous)

Must have:

Own vehicle & Valid driver’s license
