About the Role:
We are seeking a technically skilled Site/Project Engineer to join a high-profile 75MW utility-scale solar PV project. The role is primarily site-based, with travel to our Johannesburg headquarters on a monthly basis. You will be responsible for technical oversight, quality assurance, and construction management, ensuring project milestones are met safely and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee technical, quality, and construction aspects of the solar PV project.

  • Ensure compliance with engineering designs, standards, and project specifications.

  • Collaborate with contractors, IPPs, and EPC teams to maintain project timelines.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams.

Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Proven experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar PV) from an IPP, EPC, or Engineering Design Consultancy.

  • Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BSc Eng preferred, minimum BTech).

  • Strong site management, technical, and quality assurance skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
