Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency is seeking an experienced accountant based in Gauteng, South Africa. Candidates are required to possess an accounting degree or higher diploma, along with at least 3 to 5 years' experience in an accounting environment. Key responsibilities include managing full accounting functions, producing management reports, and preparing tax returns. Qualifications

• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in an accounting environment.
• Affiliations to SAICA, SAIPA, ACCA, CIMA and SAIBA preferred.
• Working knowledge of Pastel is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounting and tax function of client portfolio.
• Produce monthly management reports.
• Prepare and submit income tax and provisional tax returns.
• Attend to all SARS correspondence.
