They’re looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Systems & Network Engineer to lead operations in their Network Operations Centre (NOC). In this hands-on role, you’ll make sure that customers receive top-quality service, networks stay rock-solid, and teams work together like clockwork.

Salary: R35k – R65k per month.

Area: Century City.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee NOC operations to keep client systems performing at their best.
• Resolve advanced technical escalations (Tier 1 and 2) with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Lead and support the NOC team to improve processes, skill levels, and efficiency.
• Implement migrations, upgrades, and optimisations across a range of Windows Server and virtualised environments.
• Document systems, processes, and client setups for smooth future operations.
• Liaise with clients and other teams to build strong, productive relationships.

What You Need:

• 5+ years’ experience in a NOC or IT managed services environment.
• Proven expertise in Windows Server (2012 R2–2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, PKI.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere 6.5+, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS, and VLANs/routing/firewall concepts.
• Familiarity with Exchange 2016+ and Microsoft Azure.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, Azure/M365), VMware (VCP-DCV), or similar.
• Exposure to SolarWinds/N-Able, PRTG, RMM tools, Veeam, and Rubrik.
• Leadership qualities, problem-solving ability, and a client-first mentality.
