Job summary

A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced ServiceNow consultant for a contract role focused on ITSM and CSDM alignment. The consultant will assess the current ServiceNow implementation, lead workshops, and document design recommendations. Candidates should have over five years of ServiceNow experience with a strong emphasis on ITSM and CMDB. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with enterprise customers are essential for this role. The position is remote with overlap to US Central time.

Engagement: Contract role three to six months with likely extension

Role summary

Our Client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow consultant to provide oversight of ITSM and CSDM alignment for an IT Financial Management and ITSM improvement programme. The consultant will review the current ServiceNow implementation work with stakeholders to validate requirements and design a future state model that aligns process data and CMDB to CSDM good practice.

Key requirements
  • Review current ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB configuration and identify gaps against CSDM.
  • Define and document a recommended future state model including processes data model and integrations.
  • Work with architecture and finance teams to ensure ITSM and CSDM design supports ITFM and Apptio reporting needs.
  • Lead and support remote workshops with customer stakeholders and produce clear design and decision documentation.
  • Provide guidance to customer and any delivery team on best practice configuration and implementation approach.
  • Five plus years hands on ServiceNow experience with strong focus on ITSM and CMDB.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing CSDM aligned data models and service portfolios.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers and multi vendor delivery teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead workshops and present design options clearly in English.
  • Nice to have understanding of IT Financial Management and tools such as Apptio or similar.
