Job summary

A consulting firm in Johannesburg is looking for a Tender Manager to handle document management and monitor tenders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, 5+ years of tendering experience, and ICT sector knowledge. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years tendering experience in both public and private sectors.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant enterprise ICT technical experience.
  • Previous experience in the ICT sector is advantageous.

  • Establishing and adhering to proper document management for minutes, tender documents and related documents.
  • Monitoring the financial impact of tender awards.
  • Providing administrative and technical support (technical information and explanations) for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related activities.
  • Tracking contract deadlines and renewal dates.
  • Monitoring and ensuring that the tender and legal requirements impacting the tender process are maintained
  • Sourcing, compiling, submitting and following up of all possible tenders for the Company.
  • Ensuring accurate submission of tenders.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum of 5 Years tendering experience, both Public and Private ICT sector
  • Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • Previous experience working in the ICT sector would be an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant enterprise ICT (Servers, Storage, Backup, End User Devices) technical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales and in Vendor/Supplier Collaboration
