Job description

Meridian Wine Merchants is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and solutions-oriented individual to join their Sales Operations function in the Gauteng region. This role drives the Salesforce strategy, roadmap, and operations to equip the commercial teams for efficient, effective, and data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Salesforce strategy and roadmap, translating business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Act as a change agent and CRM champion, upskilling users and enabling adoption of best practices and new features.
  • Oversee sales operational requirements ensuring systems and processes are optimised to support executional excellence.
  • Manage and enhance reporting and dashboards, providing real-time, actionable insights to commercial leadership and sales team.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the development of technology solutions to enhance customer and client services.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud Consultant) are required.
  • A degree in Business Management, Information Systems or related fields would be beneficial.
  • 5-8 years’ proven experience in Sales Operations, CRM Management, or Salesforce Administration/Strategy.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including reporting, data architecture, and automation tools.
