A retail property consulting firm in Durban is seeking a professional to build and foster relationships with the landlord community and source new retail space for their brands. Responsibilities

  • Build and foster relationships with the landlord community across South Africa.
  • Review leasing reports and ensure lease agreements are renewed timeously.
  • Provide support to the administration department in executing their duties.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices.
  • Attend property meetings and present material terms of potential transactions.
  • Liaise between landlords, tenants, brokers, legal teams, and internal departments.
  • Schedule meetings, site visits, and maintain regular communication with stakeholders.

Job description

To build and foster relationships with the broker community and source new retail space for the groups trading brands.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and Foster relationships with the Landlord Community across South Africa ensuring new retail space & developments are available to the groups retail brands
  • Review Leasing Reports and ensure lease agreements are renewed timeously as per the company mandate
  • Provide support to the Administration department in the execution of their duties.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practice
  • Attend Property meetings and present material terms of potential transactions.
  • Attend to signature and counter signature of Lease Agreements, Offers and Heads of Agreements and co-ordinate beneficial occupation with Projects department.
  • Act as a liaison between landlords, tenants, brokers, legal teams, and internal departments (finance, legal, marketing, property management).
  • Schedule meetings, site visits, and maintain regular communication with stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
