Job summary
As a Renewal Sales Specialist (German Speaker), you will be responsible for managing coverage in the DACH region and driving renewals for the largest segment of DigiCert's customer base. Your goal is to deliver incremental revenue growth and bring in new business.
This is a remote position.
What you will do
- Build and foster strong relationships by working closely with your in-region Account Manager. Develop deep relationships with strategic DigiCert customers, focusing on increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and supporting long-term success. Solve technology challenges.
- Practice active listening to enhance mutual understanding, express genuine interest, and identify opportunities to expand DigiCert's reach.
- Seek information proactively by going beyond routine questions, resolving discrepancies, and conducting environmental scans for future opportunities.
- Influence and persuade others to support specific agendas, impressions, or actions effectively.
- Maintain composure and resiliency by handling pressure, setbacks, rejections, and conflicts with optimism and persistence.
- Gather and assess information related to organizational communication channels and power relationships.
- Manage territory in the DACH region.
What you will have
- Professional working proficiency in German (essential)
- At least 2 years of experience managing the full sales cycle (inside or field sales) in the software space, preferably SaaS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- SaaS sales experience in the DACH region and/or public sector is highly advantageous
- Proactive approach to adopting sales best practices and process adherence
- Market and industry knowledge with awareness of changing trends
- Strong objection handling and negotiation skills
- Commitment to self-education and applying knowledge professionally
- Ability to align corporate strategic goals with customer solutions
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with multiple team members
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders
- Resourcefulness in overcoming barriers and objections
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels within customers and prospects
