We are looking for bilingual Portuguese & English speakers to join us as ESL tutors!

Teach fun English classes online via Zoom from the comfort of your own home! The role is completely flexible!

Do you love teaching but dread lesson prep and grading? Then this role is for you. We provide all the lesson materials—you simply log in and do what you do best: teach!

Up to 30 hours of shifts available per week

Fully Remote Role: Work from anywhere in South Africa

Whether you want a flexible side hustle or steady teaching hours, we’ve got options for you. Work as little as 16 hours a month or up to 30 hours a week—you decide.

Here’s how it works:

• You share your availability, and we schedule your shifts two weeks in advance.
• Busy one week? Drop a shift and another teacher will cover.
• Want to earn more? Pick up extra shifts when it suits you.

When you’re on shift, just log in, teach the prepared lessons, and write quick feedback for your students afterwards. It’s that simple!

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a C2 Level English Speaker
• Portuguese B2 / C1 Level Speaker
• Completed 120-hour TEFL certificate
• One year of experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Equipment & Infrastructure:

• Laptop/PC with an 8th Gen, Quad Core Intel Core i5 or higher and 8GB RAM
• Stable fibre internet with 25 Mbps download/upload minimum (LAN cable connection only)
• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) that provides 4–5 hours of backup power
• Separate mini-UPS to keep your fibre router powered during outages
• Noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam, and a quiet, professional workspace
