Responsibilities

• Facultative Reinsurance & Special Acceptances: Evaluate and decide on referrals that fall outside the UMA mandate.
• Arrange facultative reinsurance or special acceptances for risks above treaty limits.
• Ensure that all placements align with company underwriting guidelines.
• Reinsurance Renewals: Compile and circulate renewal packs in partnership with UMAs and internal stakeholders.
• Gather, review, and present accurate data to treaty reinsurers.
• Negotiate renewal terms and secure treaty support for all UMAs.
• Oversee the smooth completion of all administrative processes linked to renewals.
• Stakeholder & Treaty Management: Build and sustain strong working relationships with treaty and facultative reinsurers.
• Collaborate with UMAs and internal business partners to align strategies and support underwriting needs.
