Reception / Relief Night Auditor required in Pretoria.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Receptionist / Relief Night Auditor to be based in Pretoria.

Salary: R9 000 – R11 000 per month.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Std. 10 (Grade 12)
  • Front Office, NQ Level 1 or other relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the Hotel industry, in a similar position
  • Infor PMS “Front Office and Cashiering functions” as well as Nebula POS an advantage
  • Prior night audit/reception experience an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic mathematics and accounting knowledge essential
  • Display a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Customer orientation, professional charm and sophistication is an advantage
  • Presentable
  • Ability to capture, interpret and interrogate data
  • Ability to work shifts and occasional overtime

Key Performance Objectives:

  • Be responsible for the smooth running of the night shift in the absence of the Night Auditor.
  • To ensure the final checks and balances are done of all departments before running End of Day.
  • To be responsible for Hotel check ins and check outs as well as processing payments, and to ensure that the standards as laid down by the company policies and procedures are adhered to in order to achieve the highest occupancy percentage at the best possible average room rate.
  • Compiling daily night audit reports and distributing them with the daily handover.
  • To conduct regular walkabouts to ensure the safety of the property and all persons on site is maintained at all times.
  • To provide the best possible standard in service to all guests and owners.
