Specific Role Responsibilities

• Managing of ETA date achievement
• Always maintaining focus on moving vehicles timeously
• Planning of job through the system – updating dates on TMS
• Always checking if the correct work is carried out as per job card
• If any extras take it up with estimator
• Ensuring all new parts are fitted correctly to vehicles
• Checking of quality in all departments while repair process
• Ensuring the workshop is always clean
• Making sure health and safety requirement are adhered, at all times
• Managing staff on clocking on and off jobs
• Management of production staff
• Manage production meetings
• Checking which job can be outsourced
• Managing performance of production staff
• Follow up with outstanding parts
• Follow up with outsourced partners for latest ETA
• Communicate all reworks with Manager
• Follow up with repairs and maintenance
• Ensuring pressure tests are completed and recorded on TMS

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Experience

• 2 years' and more of relevant experience (Car Rental or Automotive Industry)
• 2 years' and more supervisory experience

Minimum Qualification

• Grade 12

Minimum Requirements

• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
• Computer literate (basic level will suffice)
• An excellent command of the English language is essential, both verbal and written
