Job summary

A manufacturing company is seeking a Manager to oversee the coating and lining process in a heavy engineering environment. Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in manufacturing, along with qualifications in Chemical/Polymer Science and NACE coating certification. The role requires effective process management and compliance with Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment with anti-corrosive application and specifications.
• Knowledge of FBE (Fusion Bonded Epoxy) cohesive coating and HDE coating application.
• NACE corrosion / SAIW coating certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the coating and lining process in manufacturing.
• Ensure the manufacturing process meets customer specifications.
• Implement and monitor systems for operational effectiveness.

Overview

Oversee and coordinate the coating and lining process in a large manufacturing plant in heavy engineering environment ensuring efficient production operations.

Duties

• Ensure the coating and lining manufacturing process meets the required customer specifications
• Ensure effective and efficient process set up of coating and lining operations
• Formulate implement inspect document and monitor systems for operational effectiveness
• Installation of process improvements
• Problem solving
• Monitor waste control
• Ensure compliance to Health & Safety standards

Requirements

• Qualification in Chemical / Polymer Science
• Minimum of 5 years experience a manufacturing / engineering environment with anti-corrosive application and specifications
