Job summary

A leading sales company in the home appliance sector is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive sales growth across key retail partners in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing premium brands, a strong track record in sales targets, and excellent relationship management skills. Responsibilities include developing regional strategies, managing promotional activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with immediate start.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Key Account management selling premium kitchen appliances.
  • Proven success in delivering sales and profitability targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical ability with experience in business planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to influence and build trusted relationships across functions and with retail partners.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional account strategies to achieve sales growth.
  • Manage joint business planning, promotional activities, and budget allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within key retail accounts.
  • Translate data into actionable commercial plans.
  • Monitor and optimize online and in-store execution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Service teams.
