Role profile – OSS/BSS Solution Architect
The Solution Architect is responsible for defining, maintaining, and evolving the emerging solution architecture that enables the digital vision and business objectives, maximizing the value of technology disruptions into current and future capabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions, cross-domain integration, and APIs
- Conduct feasibility analysis
- Governance of business capability and customer journey architecture in agile software delivery
- Develop solutions and designs for online buying journeys
- Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure alignment
- Oversee and lead the design, development, and deployment of digital architecture practices, standards, patterns, and innovations
- Document product definitions, business rules, operational and business processes, and technical product architecture as a consolidated reference for the business
Required Skills
- 8 to 10 years of experience in disciplines such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, large-scale integration, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier environment
- Expertise in the end-to-end Product Development Lifecycle for Telecom products
- Understanding of Rumour to Cash process for Enterprise Business
- Experience with Order Management using Siebel
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with high creativity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences
- Knowledge of the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging trends
- Experience in business capability modeling and solution architecture development in a digital business context
- Experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD
- Professional experience and knowledge of digital and Telecommunications industries are strongly preferred
