Network Engineer position available in Cape Town

We’re hiring a Network Engineer to design and manage advanced networking solutions that support large-scale, autonomous applications.

The role involves building networks in complex environments, supporting projects across multiple regions, and working with both wired and wireless technologies.

Location: Century City, Cape Town – Onsite.

Salary: R720,000 – R960,000 CTC per annum.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise networks, including wired (Cisco/UBNT) and private wireless/5G/LTE.
• Configure and support user equipment and networking hardware.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support, ensuring systems meet SLA standards.
• Develop processes, documentation, and automated reports on network performance.
• Collaborate with RF Engineers to optimise coverage.
• Attend customer and partner meetings, including occasional travel.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in network engineering.
• Relevant degree or certification.
• Hands-on experience with wired, wireless, and 5G/LTE networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work across global teams and provide high-level support.
