Job description

The National Emergency Control Centre Operator plays a pivotal role in facilitating and coordinating the reporting of activations and verifications nationwide to ensure swift reaction times for operational staff and law enforcement agencies, thus optimizing vehicle recovery to clients' satisfaction.

Perform control centre duties and functions with precision.

Respond to inbound emergency calls from clients in a professional manner.

Activate and action events according to all NECC policies and procedures.

Liaise with SAPS, Law Enforcement, and Private Security partners to ensure an effective response and recovery of activated vehicles.

This is a senior-level position requiring excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and self-leadership.

The successful candidate will work shifts and must be aware of data protection regulations.

Additionally, they should possess working knowledge of operational radio communication use and procedures.
