Responsibilities
  • Manage, retain, and grow strategic key customer accounts across multiple sectors, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Proactively identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the company’s market footprint.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, design, production, and commercial teams to deliver tailored, fit-for-purpose packaging solutions.
  • Analyse customer needs and prepare impactful proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies.
  • Lead effective negotiations to achieve win-win outcomes and sustainable value for both customers and the company.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop innovative go-to-market strategies and support successful project execution.
  • Consistently achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in BCom (Marketing / Business / Commerce) or Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
  • Proven track record in sales, key account management, and business development.
  • Experience in packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Technical aptitude and / or strong commercial mindset to support solution-driven selling.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Valid drivers license and own transport.
