Overview

Key purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the Financial Sector Industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in sales, account management, and a deep understanding of the financial industry, along with Telco and ICT experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience either in a bank or have transitioned from the banking sector to the Telco industry.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and revenue growth targets within the financial sector, specifically focusing on Telco and ICT accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in major financial accounts, such as banks, insurance companies, investment firms, or fintech companies, with a specific emphasis on Telco and ICT domains.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs, challenges, and growth opportunities within the financial industry and Telco/ICT space.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment in delivering tailored Telco and ICT solutions and exceptional service to key accounts in the financial sector.
  • Leverage Telco and ICT experience to identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the assigned financial accounts.
  • Negotiate and renew contracts, pricing agreements, and service level agreements with key accounts in the financial sector, specifically within the Telco and ICT context.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against targets, providing regular reports and analysis to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the financial sector, Telco, and ICT domains to effectively advise key accounts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty within the financial industry and Telco/ICT sector.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and differentiate our offerings within the financial sector and Telco/ICT space.

Qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development within the financial sector, with a specific emphasis on Telco and ICT accounts.
  • Proven track record of success in managing large accounts and driving revenue growth in the financial industry, particularly in the Telco and ICT domains.
  • Deep understanding of the financial sector, Telco industry, and ICT landscape, including knowledge of industry trends, regulations, products, and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with experience in contract negotiation within the financial industry and Telco/ICT context.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop account plans and identify growth opportunities in the financial sector, Telco, and ICT domains.
