Overview

Jupidex (Pty) Ltd, part of the Plennegy Group, is a market leader in Southern Africa for distribution and service of high quality equipment for Soil Preparation, Seeding, Spreading, Hay & Forage and Spraying. Founded in 1999 (originally trading as Kverneland South Africa), the Head Office is in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. With brands such as Kverneland, McHale, Alpler, Dondi, Celikel, AgriSpread and Andreoli, Jupidex aims to provide professional service to farmers in Southern Africa. The position of Regional Sales Manager has become available for the Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo region. This role is responsible for sales through Dealers and Key Accounts, and liaises with Head Office, the Business Development Manager and the COO.

Responsibilities
  • Development and execution of the annual Sales Budget for the respective area of responsibility and product segment.
  • Configure products to be positioned competitively in the market to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop the respective Area of Responsibility (AOR) & segment responsible for to achieve profit targets.
  • Plan and execute activities in line with Sales & Marketing plans.
  • Brand Promotion and Positioning.
  • Administration, Inventory Management and Control.
  • Present, promote & sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Requirements

Education

  • Min: Post-Matric Certificate/Diploma
  • Ideal: Degree in agriculture/business/marketing or a related field

Legal Requirements

  • Driver's License and Police Clearance

Experience

  • High level of product application knowledge - 5-10 years of experience

Knowledge

  • Agricultural Mechanization - Knowledge of the principles and complexities of Agricultural Mechanization.
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including needs assessment and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Business Knowledge – Understanding the principles of successful business and the application of these principles in this business. Good financial acumen is required.
