About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Administrator to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support across various HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the HR department. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in Human Resources.

Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) – essential
  • HR-related Diploma / Certificate – advantageous
  • 1–2 years’ HR admin experience (or strong internship/learnership experience)
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update employee records (digital and hard copy)
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees (preparing documentation, induction coordination)
  • Help with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain training records
  • Handle HR-related queries from staff in a professional manner
  • Prepare HR documentation such as contracts, letters, and reports
  • Assist in monitoring staff attendance and leave records
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labour legislation
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
