Job Title: Junior Account Manager

Location: Cape Town, South Africa

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 4 days in office in Claremont, 1 day remote

Working Hours: US East Coast hours | 3pm–11pm SAST

Reports to: Senior Management Team

Salary Range: R20,000 - R27,000 gross per month

Our client is a leading property photography company, capturing stunning, high-quality images and video tours for real estate agents and homeowners across the UK and the US. Their mission is to help homes shine in the market, and our talented team delivers exceptional visual content with speed, creativity, and professionalism.

They are expanding their international team and looking for a dynamic Junior Account Manager to join them. This hybrid role blends day-to-day customer service with proactive account management, ensuring their clients feel supported, valued, and excited to work with them.

Role

This is a unique hybrid position designed for someone who can juggle relationship management with efficient customer service. You’ll be the friendly, capable first point of contact for clients from handling queries, coordinating with the internal teams, and following up to make sure everything runs smoothly. At the same time, you’ll nurture accounts, spot opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and play a part in client retention.

It’s an ideal role for someone with 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role who’s organised, commercially aware, and thrives on helping people.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for US-based clients, handling incoming requests, enquiries, and updates with professionalism and warmth.
  • Conduct initial diagnostics on client needs or issues, coordinating with relevant internal teams for resolution.
  • Keep clients informed with timely, proactive communication.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our clients' services.
  • Support the sales team by handing over warm leads and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Be a liaison for photographers, coordinating with them to resolve any issues they might have regarding shoot locations, customer issues etc.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and updates in our CRM system.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to improve processes, customer experience, and service delivery.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong sense of empathy, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities at once.
  • The ability to work independently while following processes and instructions.
  • A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve client satisfaction and retention.
  • An interest in photography or real estate (nice to have, but not essential).
