Job description
Investment Administrator required in Constantia, Cape Town.

Investment Administrator, with formal tertiary financial qualification and minimum 3 years’ financial services experience, specifically in the Asset Management and Wealth / Investment Industries, required to support the Operations Department of an Asset Management/Investment Company based in Constantia, Cape Town.

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric essential
  • Tertiary Financial qualification required – B.Com Finance / Economics or B.Admin Degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in the Investment/Asset Management environment required
  • Specialist knowledge – Trade Cycles, fund manager reporting, fund reconciliation, essential
  • Industry knowledge – Instrument trade types, broker relationships, required

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support to the Operations department
  • Minimisation of missed deals
  • Cash and Trade settlements Management of Funds
  • Data capturing into system and Instrument setups
  • Accurate and in-time process – trade uploads, demat trades
  • Fund Manager reporting – daily sheets, trade sheets
  • Improving and reviewing existing processes
  • Operations tasks – Account opening, Due Diligence, etc
  • Internal and external queries
  • Maintain internal/external relationships
